Hightide Seafoods is founded and operated by former Alaskan commercial fisherman, Raymond Hayes. Raymond started fishing on his father’s Dungeness crab boat, F/V Seahawk, at a young age and has been involved in the seafood industry ever since. His experience on the processing end of the seafood industry helps in finding the finest products . Eating seafood his whole life has also made him very picky. When it comes to Hightide’s products, Raymond’s motto is “If I won’t eat it myself, we won’t carry it.”
Hightide’s company goals are: 1) to offer nothing but the best products. 2) to serve you with superior and informative customer care. 3) to bring you a variety of products never before readily available to you.
Our products include: King, Silver, and Sockeye Salmon, Crab, Spot Prawns, Abalone, Tuna, Scallops, Clams, Halibut, Sablefish, Rockfish, Sea Bass, Lobster, Elk, and Lamb.
Our company specializes in Alaskan seafood, buying much of it straight from the fisherman. One of our advantages is we know the fishermen we buy from personally, and demand the highest quality product from them. Another advantage, we know the processing styles of our products and where to buy the product that has been processed correctly and will consistently be the freshest product. We also plan to import high quality products from all over the world, and give our consumers the chance to try gourmet foods they’ve never had access to before.
